CEO Council for Growth (CEO Council) member and GPCC Board Chairman, Denis O’Brien, Sr. Executive VP, Exelon Corporation & CEO Exelon Utilities hosted Vice President Joe Biden at PECO’s headquarters in Philadelphia earlier this week for an event and an important announcement on our nation’s energy infrastructure.

 

Joined by Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz and John Holdren, Policy director of the White House Office of Science and Technology, Vice President Biden announced the release of the first Quadrennial Energy Review. The report focuses on the nation’s energy transmission systems and infrastructure and offers policy recommendations for modernization. A full copy of the report can be found here.

 

The Greater Philadelphia Energy Action Team (GPEAT), working in conjunction with the CEO Council,  Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and Select Greater Philadelphia, works for the expansion of the energy, petrochemical, manufacturing and energy infrastructure sectors in the Greater Philadelphia region. GPEAT looks forward to working with the Obama Administration to improve and expand our region’s energy infrastructure.
